What is the mission of the Position?

Sensedia's Sales serves as a strategic pillar that creates effective communication and business relationships with prospects and customers through its collaborative and creative approach for market leadership and customer preference.

We are looking for a driven and experienced sales professional that possesses strong technology industry experience in opening new geographies or markets with Software as a Service or Platform as a Service tech providers.  The team-oriented sales trailblazer will join our International Sales Team to help to drive new sales in our expanding US region. This sales-driven brand ambassador will  be responsible for a sales account strategy aligned with Sensedia's values as well as accountable for the daily execution on that strategy to drive new customer attainment. 

If you have a proven sales track record with innovative platform or SaaS companies, understand key performance SaaS/iPaaS metrics (SaaS), and are driven to learn technology and use that knowledge to create demand for our technology and services by translating customer needs into value-driven projects that successfully and repeatedly close sales,, you will be fundamental to our team.


What will be your day-to-day activities?

- Drives new business within the target list of ideal customers and market segments 

- Engages in demand activities and sales qualification opportunities to build awareness and pipeline for Sensedia. 

- Hands-on, high-touch account management and overall sales funnel management from qualifying a lead through the opportunity management to proposal to close 

- Works to identify key stakeholders in prospect and customers to identify key stakeholders, understand requirements and work with pre-sales and services to create the appropriate Sensedia solution for their needs.

- Leverages and maintains a fully compliant sales pipeline in HubSpot. Generates data and insights into weekly, monthly and quarterly business and sales  reports as well as participates in execution and planning huddles. 

- Embraces social selling within LinkedIn, personal networks, pre-event engagement coupled with a modern approach to value-based sales all to accelerate converting prospects to customers.  

- Always learning and demonstrating an understanding of the technical solutions we offer,  adapting our many solutions to the needs of prospects and customers and mapping that demand to the right offer to drive those to business and technical outcomes. 

- Suggests and implements improvements in the Sensedia USA sales process, identifying what can be improved and adapted from the existing process.

- Monitor your key sales metrics and manage performance based on those results.

- Build strong and trusted relationships with AWS sellers to align on how we can drive drive delighted customers and displace competitors together

- Internally  partners and  across functional lines to collaborate with other Sensedia technical and business teams to achieve USA sales results in a way that complements and conveys  Sensedia’s  culture and values.

- Dedicate yourself to constantly improving the understanding of the Sensedia solution to work as a consultant and advisor for our solutions in the American market.

- Provides input to marketing on key demand generation activities and proactively prepares, engages with prospects via social and participates in market and Sensedia events

- Stays current on industry trends and provides competitive analysis to optimize growth strategies

- Create and foster deep relationships with ideal customer profile executives.

- Report the progress of sales pipeline opportunities and actively execute plans to achieve established goals.

-  Actively participates in the integration of commercial activities with the Marketing area's strategies to achieve growth expectations in the target sectors, accelerate awareness and growth of our brand; such as business analyses, marketing plans, events, campaigns, commercial activations, among others.

- Manage and maintain an updated and compliant sales funnel in the company's CRM.

What are the mandatory requirements for this position?

- Degree in Business Administration, Technological Engineering and/or related careers.

- Proven sales record in opening up new markets or geos with self-initiated sales strategies

- Collaborative sales expert with a drive to achieve results in harmony with Sensedia values and culture

- A thirst for learning technology and new markets. Exhibits a growth mindset. 

- An extensive understanding of how to translate the business objectives of a prospect/customer and seeking creative options to solve the problem/needs with Sensedia technology and services. .

- A driven business and sales expert who can relate to executives, but is humble - approachable

- A Hands-on sales-driven personality who will face challenges and fears through collaborative problem solving. 

- Takes accountability for sales strategy and execution. 

- Knows when to ask for help and doesn’t rely on excuses. 

- Professional dreamer, will have to persevere to open the US as  new market

- Someone who can create good relationships.

- Technical knowledge (APIs, IPasS and Microservices)

- Proven Sales track record in the tech/SaaS/iPaaS market.

- Proficiency in English

What will be the differential requirements for this position?

- Proficiency in Portuguese would be an excellent advantage.
